Stardates 2/2504.11 - 2/2504.20 (Days 11-20)

Common

2/2504.11 • Ribpanno's Squadron (3 D-7R Bringer Of Agony cruisers) is detached from Raider Group 3 and assigned as the new Raider Group 4. Raider Group 4 is to proceed to the vicinity of Flitner and attempt to locate the Federation fleet in that area. If contacted, Raider Group 4 is to shadow the Federation force, avoiding any close contact. If the Federation force engages in combat, close in and see if it is possible to drag off any cripples.

All other IKS forces remain in their systems.

2/2504.14 • IKS intelligence reports that the Federation force Raider Group 4 has been ordered to follow is almost certainly Task Force 89, commanded by Rear Admiral T'nek. Further, there are very strong rumors within that fleet indicating that T'nek may be planning on attacking the IKS, possibly in an attempt to gain favor with the local systems.

2/2504.20 • Concerned that the Federation may be planning an attack on the IKS, the high command orders self-destruct devices be placed on all the inactive ships in orbit in the K'Linsann system. This should be finished by 2/2504.26.

Raider Group 4

2/2504.12 • Raider Group 4 detects a large force consisting of eight Size C, six Size B, and two Size A Federation warp signatures head "south" from the Flitner system at warp 6. After a short attempt to evade by speeding up, the force settles back to warp 6.

2/2504.13 • The Federation force stops for a short time at the Turningpoint system before moving on. In the system are three Size A Federation ship signatures and five Size A Romulan ship signatures. Two Size A Federation signature ships approach the Federation force. Within ten minutes of contact the Federation force turns and heads out of the system. The Raider Group does not stop at the system, but continues to follow the Federation fleet.

2/2504.17 • The Federation force enters the Deerlam system. They are met by one Size B and two Size A Federation signatures.

2/2504.18 • The Federation force turns and attempts to attack the Raider Group. The group withdraws one day from the system. When the pursuers turn away the group reverses direction and returns to the Deerlam system. There if finds the Federation force again.

2/2504.19 • The Federation and local ships move about the Deerlam system in seemingly random patters, possibly engaging in training exercises. This goes on for a number of days. The Raider Group waits patiently at the edge of the system.
